My Journey to True Health
I never saw myself as someone with significant health issues, but I had certain problem areas I wanted to improve. I’ve always been active, but as I got older, I became more health-conscious and curious about what “true health” really meant. I wanted more structure and discipline in my eating and fitness habits, to improve my body composition , and to enhance my mental clarity and energy levels.
Growing up in the Midwest, our idea of “healthy” was very different. It wasn’t until I started traveling out west for work that I was introduced to different foods and lifestyles . Before that, I didn’t necessarily see myself as overweight—though I knew I could drop a few pounds—but my understanding of health was shaped by what i had been conditioned to believe.
Through travel and exposure to new perspectives, I became more mindful of my nutrition and realized I actually enjoyed different foods beyond the “meat and potatoes” lifestyle I grew up with. I started incorporating a more active, outdoor lifestyle-not just hitting the gym but truly embracing movement as a way of life.
As I made these changes, my passion for holistic health grew. I found myself constantly researching, following health influencers, and soaking in knowledge about nutrition, movement, gut health, self-healing, and naturopathy. I began to realize that so many people, including my own friends and family, could benefit from this knowledge. That’s when I knew I wanted to do more than just improve my own health—I wanted to help others do the same.
From Medical Field to Motivated Coaching
I have over 20 years of experience in the medical field as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with an Associate’s Degree in Allied Health Sciences. My background gave me extensive experience working with patients and helping them regain their strength and independence. However, I often worked with individuals who weren’t always motivated to make lasting lifestyle changes.
I realized I wanted to work with people who were ready and eager to take control of their health. —those who just needed the right guidance and support to achieve their goals.
That’s when I decided to stop making excuses and fully commit to my passion. I pursued certifications in:

Now, I help people who are motivated to take control of their health but may feel overwhelmed by conflicting information, as well as those who have tried numerous other approaches that have failed them no matter how hard they.

Instead of outsourcing wellness to a system that often applies quick-fix, “band aid” solutions, we can take back control through nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and behavioral changes that make the body work for us—not against us.
